Application of molybdenum foil in infrared quartz lamp
Infrared quartz lamp is a thermal radiation source made of high temperature resistant quartz glass as the lamp body material, whose filament material heats up sharply after electricity, radiates infrared photons, accompanied by visible light, and acts on the heated workpiece after transmission through the quartz tube wall. The infrared quartz lamp radiates energy from a long linear filament in the quartz tube, which is usually a single peak spectrum and a wide spectral band output, and its intensity regulation is linear. When the infrared quartz lamp is used to irradiate the composite material, the response and absorption infrared spectrum of the heated composite material is different from the molecular and atomic level. For example, the metal matrix, common such as aluminum, magnesium, copper, titanium and their alloys, peak in the infrared absorption band is mainly in 1000 ~ 1700nm. And non-metallic matrix, common such as synthetic resin, rubber, ceramic, graphite, carbon, etc., peak in the infrared absorption band is mainly in 1800 ~ 2500nm. If the radiation heat source has multi-peak infrared spectrum, it can accurately match the absorption of the material, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing energy consumption and improving efficiency.
The components of infrared quartz lamp are: quartz tube body, porcelain piece, pressure sealing end, first power line, second power line, molybdenum foil, molybdenum rod, first filament, second filament, exhaust hole.
How does molybdenum foil fit? Two molybdenum foils are arranged on each porcelain piece. The molybdenum strip is connected with the first power line outside the quartz tube body. The molybdenum strip is connected with the second power cord outside the quartz tube body.
