Dayu is the birthplace of tungsten resources in China. 110 years ago, the first piece of tungsten in the world was discovered in Xihua Mountain, Dayu. Dayu is famous for tungsten and is known as the "tungsten capital of the world" because of its brilliance.
However, after more than a hundred years of mining, the rest of the world faces serious problems such as depletion of resources, environmental pollution and potential safety hazards. "In particular, the price of tungsten has dropped since the international financial crisis in 2009, and the long-term operation in the depressed state has caused the economy to slide into the bottom of the valley," said Cao Aizhen.
In the face of the challenges of short chain of tungsten industry, low content of science and technology, great pressure of ecological environmental protection and so on, how to get rid of the excessive dependence on the traditional tungsten industry and take a new road driven by innovation and green is a difficult choice. Finally, Dayu decided to take a new road of industrial high-quality transformation, which is "scientific and technological innovation, structural adjustment and transformation kinetic energy".
Cao Aizhen introduced that the large-"The most basic, most advantageous, most distinctive and most potential" non-ferrous metal new material industry was identified as the first industry, and the traditional tungsten industry was promoted to extend to the complete high-end industrial chain.
In view of the problem of low level of tungsten industry, the most complete tungsten industrial chain in the world has been successfully recovered from mining-crude separation-tungsten concentrate-APT-- tungsten oxide-tungsten carbide powder-cemented carbide, tool drill tool and tungsten slag by extending chain, strong chain and replenishing chain. At present, the high-end tungsten products have been exported to the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and other countries, to achieve the tungsten industry chain, buy the world, sell the world.
In view of the problem of industrial single resource dependence, through the marriage grafting of the original apt production plant, the new production line of lithium iron phosphate and lithium carbonate cathode material is transformed and developed to lithium carbonate and lithium iron phosphate production.
