The advantage of tungsten alloy development lies in the low cost of environmental protection, but the disadvantage is that it can not replace chromium plating and cadmium plating in some working environments. The bottleneck of this process development is to improve product performance, there are three problems to be solved. (1) improve the quality of personnel. (2) stabilize the current product quality in order to get more industry cooperation. Strengthen self-production management, stabilize the quality of available products, put forward higher requirements for equipment matching and raw material supply, improve hardware facilities and stabilize market share. (3) for the whole tungsten alloy system, the additive is still at a very low level, and there is no progress compared with monometallic electroplating. The wetting agent used in tungsten alloy electroplating, the brightener and the impurity remover used to adjust the deposition content of the coating all come from nickel plating. It is well known that the bit is made of tungsten steel, and there is no doubt about hardness and wear resistance. So, as far as the coating is concerned, changing the arrangement of metal elements is the final method to improve the performance, so it is necessary to develop additives, which is the key. From the point of view of process promotion and application, tungsten alloy electroplating can not be used as a good application case of functional electroplating. In order to promote its development, it is necessary to focus on the study of plating solution. After counting all kinds of tungsten alloy bath, it is not difficult to see that the content of "tungsten" in the bath is not dominant, and the name misleads many experts and enterprises. in fact, this kind of process can still be called multicomponent nickel alloy electroplating, but because of the addition of tungsten element, many theories in nickel alloy application have been denied. Each metal has its own properties, which is perfectly normal. Zirconium or Mo have been used in previous studies. Surface treatment industries in Europe and the United States have also reported the use of silicon, magnesium and other substances as nickel complexes. If it is difficult to meet all kinds of working conditions by studying the properties of tungsten alloy, then returning to the road of nickel base may be the correct way to solve the problem of functional electroplating.
