Generally speaking, molybdenum crucible is made of Mo-1 molybdenum powder, and the temperature is 1100-1700℃. Mainly used in metallurgical industry, monocrystalline silicon, solar energy, artificial crystal and mechanical processing industries. Since the melting point of molybdenum is as high as 2610℃, molybdenum crucible is widely used in the core vessel of sapphire single crystal growth furnace, quartz glass melting furnace, rare earth smelting furnace and other industrial furnaces. The working temperature environment is generally above 2000℃, especially for sapphire single crystal growth furnace. Crucible furnace with high purity, high density, no inner crack, precise size, and smooth inner and outer wall plays a key role in the success rate of seed crystal, quality control of crystal drawing, decrystallizing and sticking pot and service life of sapphire crystal growth. At present, the production process is usually used to press and sintering forming and then forming molybdenum crucible through the process.

The molybdenum crucible produced by spinning process has the characteristics of less material loss, high density, uniform structure and no sintering cavity defects, which is suitable for the core container of sapphire single crystal growth furnace, quartz glass melting furnace, rare earth smelting furnace and other industrial furnaces.

The molybdenum sheet produced by spinning process should be the molybdenum plate with metal element impurity content less than 250ppm; When the content of metal impurity elements is greater than 250ppm, uneven organization will appear in the molybdenum plate. Due to the point contact of spinning processing, the uniformity of the organization is high, and the uneven local organization will lead to different ductility at different positions, which will be reflected in the edge of the product. Therefore, Molybdenum plate with metal element impurity content less than 250ppm should be selected when selecting materials.
