GWF93 belongs to the national standard tungsten nickel-iron alloy, the implementation standard: YS/T 1148-2016 tungsten nickel-iron alloy is a kind of tungsten based (about 90 ~ 98%) and the addition of nickel, iron, copper or other components of the alloy, the specific gravity is generally 17.0 ~ 18.5. Tungsten-nickel-iron alloy is characterized by high sintering density, good strength and plasticity, and a certain ferromagnetism. It has good plasticity and machinability, good thermal and electrical conductivity, and excellent absorption capacity for γ rays or X rays.

First, the advantages of GWF93 tungsten alloy shielding parts
The research proves that the radiation protection ability is closely related to the material density, and the higher the density, the better the shielding performance. Tungsten alloy has a great density, so its shielding performance is very high, and tungsten alloy has not been found to be harmful to people or the environment in the long-term use, in this aspect has a greater advantage than lead. Tungsten alloy has great advantages in shielding parts due to its linear attenuation of γ rays. And an equivalent amount of tungsten offers a lower risk than an equivalent lead shield.

It has been proved that tungsten alloy is the best shielding material for medical and industrial equipment. Compared with traditional shielding materials, tungsten alloy shielding parts show a good value. Lead is a metal material used in the field of shielding parts earlier, but in the process of use, it is found that the efficiency of shielding parts made of lead is not high enough, and it will cause serious pollution to the environment. And the new generation of tungsten shielding has proven to be twice as efficient as lead shielding. Tungsten shields weigh 25 to 50 percent less than lead, eliminating associated toxic hazards and reducing mixed waste disposal costs.
