In recent years, molybdenum and molybdenum alloy materials have been more and more widely used in the industrial field, which puts forward more and higher requirements for the properties of molybdenum and molybdenum alloy, and promotes the study of molybdenum alloy to deepen continuously. Among them, the role of rare earth elements in refractory metal materials has been extensively studied by domestic and foreign scholars. It is found that adding proper amount of rare earth elements or rare earth oxides to molybdenum and molybdenum alloys can increase the recrystallization temperature, high temperature strength and improve the room temperature toughness of the materials after high temperature treatment. By means of powder metallurgy, an appropriate amount of La2O3 powder was added dry (or wet) into the MoO3 powder, and the powder after reduction was suitable for particle size. After forming, preforming, sintering (vertical melting), MoLa strip is made, and then rotary forging in the range of 1400C~600℃ is made, and the diameter of 0.6mm MoLa wire is made by drawing.

1) The recrystallization temperature of MoLa wire is about 1800℃, and the microstructure is dovetail lap shape recrystallization structure.

2) After high temperature annealing and recrystallization annealing, MoLa wire still has high tensile strength, elongation and good bending property.
