New discovery of gold, silver and tungsten deposits in Wangjiatai, Suixian County, Hubei Province
The Hubei Geological Survey found a new small tungsten deposit in Wangjiatai area of Suixian. Six gold, silver and tungsten polymetallic ore bodies were preliminarily delineated in the mining area. The total WO334 resources verified by engineering are estimated to be 5752 t, which further broadens the prospecting direction of altered rock type and quartz vein type gold, silver and tungsten polymetallic ore in Suibei area.
According to the results, the gold-silver tungsten polymetallic deposits in Wangjiatai are located in the secondary brittle faults from NE to NE. This is the first time that altered rock type and quartz vein type complex gold, silver and tungsten polymetallic ore (mineralization) point has been found in the north area.
The preliminary estimate of WO3 resources t、Au1.35t,5752 to the scale of small tungsten deposits. Taking into account that the abnormal pattern Au the 1∶50,000 water system is distributed along the Heilongtan-Jiujiagou fault zone in the north-west, with large scale and high intensity, and typical deposits such as the typical Heilongtan gold and silver deposit and the Jiejiagou gold and silver deposit are found on the south east side of the abnormal zone.
It is understood that the newly discovered Wangjiatai gold, silver and tungsten polymetallic ore has successfully pulled the Hubei Provincial Geological Prospecting Fund to invest 2.5 million yuan in exploration, and the leading role of the central financial project has been reflected.
The newly discovered Wangjiatai gold-silver-tungsten polymetallic ore shows great prospecting potential and high mineralizing intensity along the north-east-north-east fault structure, which further broadens the prospecting direction of the altered rock type, quartz vein type gold, silver and tungsten polymetallic ore in the north region.
