Luobao media reporter 10 from luoyang natural resources and planning bureau learned that our city and the provincial geological and mineral exploration and development bureau to deepen strategic cooperation, in the field of geological prospecting has achieved a number of fruitful results, in luoyang newly discovered a number of tungsten molybdenum, silver, lead zinc and other mineral resources, actively promote the "resources luoyang" construction. Since last year, major prospecting breakthroughs have been made in the exploration of Luanchuan tungsten-molybdenum ore, with new submissions of 970,000 tons of molybdenum,940,000 tons of tungsten trioxide and 246,000 tons of lead-zinc, said the head of Luoyang Natural Resources and Planning Bureau. In Luoning and other places of silver, lead and zinc ore exploration, has submitted a cumulative amount of lead and zinc metal 2 million tons, silver metal 4000 tons. In the area of deep bauxite in yanlong coalfield, a super large bauxite is newly discovered, and the bauxite resource is expected to be 120 million tons. At the same time, significant progress has been made in the exploration of fluorite deposits in Luanchuan and Songxian, with the discovery of a number of large and medium-sized fluorite deposits, with a cumulative supply of nearly 10 million tons of fluorite mineral resources, which will lay a solid foundation for Luoyang to build an influential research, development and production base for China's fluorine chemical industry.

In accordance with the framework of the cooperation, Luoyang and the Provincial Bureau of Geological and Mineral Exploration and Development have also carried out a project for the investigation of selenium-rich soil in Luoyang City, and completed a survey of 1:50,000 fine selenium-rich soil. In addition, Luoyang, in cooperation with the Provincial Bureau of Geological and Mineral Exploration and Development, has advanced the work of urban geological survey, clean energy utilization, mine geological environment protection and utilization of tailings resources. At present, it has completed a detailed survey of the geological environment of the 1:50000 mines in Luoyang, and completed an investigation of the distribution, types and operation of the 436 tailings reservoirs in Luoyang.
