Evaluation criteria for molybdenum ores

Up to now, no molybdenum elements have been found in nature. Among the more than 30 molybdenum minerals found, molybdenum is the most abundant and abundant, and molybdenum is the most abundant. Molybdenum ores account for more than 98% of the total molybdenum mining in the world. Although molybdenum ore and molybdate ore are widely distributed in the world, the amount of molybdenum ore is not large, and it is often exploited as a trace associated mineral of molybdenum ore. With the increase of demand, the molybdenum grade of molybdenum ore, especially the by-product molybdenum ore, decreases obviously. The molybdenum content of molybdenum ore is very low, usually about 0.1%, rarely exceeding 0.5%, while the grade of molybdenum ore is only 0.01% or 0.03%. Obviously, it is impossible to make use of it without being well enriched. The evaluation criteria of molybdenum ore are as follows: the industrial grade of molybdenum deposit is determined to be 0.06 ~ 0.08 Moand the boundary grade is ≥ 0.02 ~ 0.04Mo. The allowable thickness of molybdenum ore body should not be less than 1 ~ 2 m and the thickness of interore-rock removal should not be more than 2 ~ 4 m. In copper-molybdenum deposits, the boundary grade of molybdenum is more than 0.01 and 0.015. The boundary grade of molybdenum is ≥ 0.01 in tungsten-molybdenum deposit. Industrial grade and boundary grade will be adjusted accordingly with the improvement of mineral product value and development technology. In determining whether a deposit is worth mining, in addition to understanding the poor and rich molybdenum grade in the ore and the amount of molybdenum metal reserves in the deposit, it is also necessary to know the mining conditions of the deposit, the ore selectivity, the water and electricity associated with the establishment of the plant. Traffic conditions, etc. The most important thing is to estimate the economic benefits. This is especially important for small mines.
